Gakkhar (گکھڑ) is a Punjabi Muslim clan from Potohar. Kamal Khan was a high ranking mansabdar of Akbar. Sultan Adam was his uncle.
A sister of Kamal Khan Gakkhar was married to Islam Shah Sur.
