Mohammad Akbar Khan (the first son of King Zahir Shah)

Mohammad Akbar Khan (the first son of King Zahir Shah) in national dress, Kabul, 1940 (c). He was named after the hero of the first Anglo-Afghan war. He died in November 1942 when he was only nine years old and his younger brother Ahmad Shah Khan became Crown Prince.
